Students are learning about a new program called Talents. The six Talents are:
*Academic
*Productive Thinking
*Communication
*Forecasting
*Decision Making
*Planning.

Special Education in Fort Payne City Schools provides services for students,  ages 3 to 21, identified in at least one of 13 disability areas:  Deaf-Blind, Emotional Disturbance. Hearing Impaired, Mentally Retarded, Multiple Disabilities, Orthopedically Impaired, Other Health Impaired, Specific Learning Disabilities, Speech and Language Impaired, Visually Impaired, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Developmentally Delayed.  Services are provided in accordance with the federal and state mandates.
